Ingrédients:
3 tasses de farine
4 c. à thé de poudre à pâte Magic
1/2 c. à thé de sel
2 tasses de fromage Cheddar Cracker Barrel, râpé
1-1/2 tasse de lait
2 c. à thé de beurre ou de margarine, fondu
Préparation:
CHAUFFER le four à 400 °F. Mélanger la farine, la poudre à pâte, le sel et le fromage dans un grand bol.
AJOUTER le lait et le beurre; remuer jusqu'à ce que le mélange forme une pâte molle. Déposer dans un moule à pain de 9 x 5 pouces, graissé.
CUIRE au four de 35 à 40 minutes ou jusqu'à ce qu'un cure-dents piqué au centre en ressorte propre et que le dessus soit doré. Laisser refroidir dans le moule sur une grille, 10 minutes. Démouler; laisser refroidir complètement. Couper en 16 tranches pour servir.

Je me souviens plus exactement ou j'ai trouvé cette recette... mais je sais que le première fois, j'habitais encore chez mes parents ! (et je suis vieille fasque ça fait longtemps ;) )
J'en ai pas fais récemment, pour nous, c'est une recette d'automne. Je rajoute des pommes parfois aussi.
Oh en passant, c'est pas écrit dans la recette, mais c'est 100 fois meilleur si vous laisser reposer votre pâte avant de la faire cuire !

Je fais cette recette depuis longtemps et j'aime surtout lorsque je mets des tranches dans le toaster... et j'ajoute du beurre !
Avec des pommes j'avais pas pensé !
